Ensemble Ex Materia is a contemporary music collective led by composer Peter Vukmirovic Stevens. Bringing together an international roster of musicians from diverse artistic backgrounds, the ensemble is dedicated to performing new and experimental works that fuse composed sound with raw improvisation. Known for its bold programming and spirit of collaboration, Ensemble Ex Materia pushes the boundaries of classical, electroacoustic, and improvised music. Based in Paris, the ensemble is committed to presenting innovative works that resonate with the complexity and urgency of our time.
